Which box is bigger? - Dr Who - BBC sci-fi

when i watched this part .when the doctor explained why the tardis was bigger on the inside,i did not understand it . even today i still don't it is still fasinating to watch i loved it.

rassilon was an enginner,a brilliant enginner he directed time-travel research,and he and a solar enginner called omega developed the living metal validium and a remote stellar manipulater that could turn a sun into a supernova.omega used this device to detonate a nearby star, supplying the enomous quantities of energy needed for the on going experiments and soon to be successful time-travel.it was a fantastic feat in stellar enginnering,but however omega was sucked into a black hole into antimatter universe.the timelords were now able to travel through time,but had no idea that the cost of their new freedom was omega's perpetual imprisionment.with omega apparently dead,  rassilon completed the mission ,securing the required power source.afterwards rassilon became the first lord high president of the timelords.

 the humannoid gallifreyans had telepathic and telekinetic capabilities and made scienctific advances and discoveries at a feroious pace,they developed and transended technologies of space travel,matter transmission,dematerialisation theory and transdimenional engineering during the old time,sought the ability to travel through and gain mastery over time itself.An early development during this period-later known as the dark times-was the time scoop.this was used to ensnare beings from anywhere and anywhen in the universe and place them on galilfreay in what became known as the death zone.offical history - which were rarely realiable- stated that this practice was eventually stamped out by the first president of the timelords. rassilon was an engineer and architect,later known as the founder of timelord society.

AT the very centre of the universe,orbiting twin suns at the heart of the constellation of kasterborous,lay the planet galilfreay.it's galatic coordinates were ten-zero-eleven-zero-zero by- two from galactic zero centre,and it was known or sometimes known as the shining world of the seven systems.it's endless mountain ranges were slopes of silver-leaved trees and deep red grass,capped with snow that shone in the dual sunlight under burnt-orange skies.in the mountain of solace and solitudeon the continent of wild Endeavor,there was a vast glass dome,surrounding and protecting the Citadel of the Oldest and most powerful race in the cosmos. [THE  TIME LORDS].

were would any body be without part one.i can only imagine what it was like to see this on the day it started on that saturday all those years ago 63/65.? still for me it was a start of something great,i wonder if the bbc might have known this.?i my self only ever saw this once on bbc two when they did a season of doctor who.still even now it holds a great  place in my heart for me.

i picked this part because pt one was the beginng,putting all the players in place.pt two here is the real beginning for me it show's william hartnell's power as the doctor his flow,grace etc .i have not seen his doctor often as i like but he pulls it off well.
